In 2010, just a few short weeks after my youngest daughter was born, my older daughter started the testing process to find out if she had cystic fibrosis. From the time we started testing to our first appointment with the pulmonologist and ultimately the positive diagnosis it took only two weeks... but they were the worst two weeks possible. At the same time we were waiting on results of Kaitlyn's tests, we were waiting on test results for my father to, to find out if he had leukemia. Despite all of our prayers, both of them ended up with a positive diagnosis. I started making awareness jewelry, and several people have asked if I will sell them, so I created
